Major renovation + swimming pool creation
This project aimed to transform a Provençal-style house into a resolutely contemporary home, while blending harmoniously into its listed wooded setting.
The project focused on several major aspects:
• Complete reorganization of the interior spaces to meet the new needs of a growing family, while optimizing functionality and circulation.
• Raised extension, allowing for the creation of new rooms and better use of the existing space.
• Modernization of the architectural image, with the addition of a structure and a terrace, part of which is accessible, thus creating a new relationship between the home and its environment.
Located in a sensitive area, this project required extensive work to obtain planning permission. The coherence and relevance of the planned transformations had to be demonstrated, particularly by taking into account the phytosanitary status of some of the umbrella pines on the site.
Finally, a swimming pool completed the exterior design, reinforcing the unique character and comfort of this reinvented house.
